How to Apply for a Diamond Licence in South Africa

- Completing the application for the Diamond Dealers Licence
Complete the form in block letters and in black pen.
Where options are given mark the appropriate block.
Complete the form in English and do not use abbreviations.
only a signed original hard copy is acceptable. - Documents to submit with the application
Ensure that all the required documentation accompanies the application below;
1/Proof of Business Premises
2/Proposed Business Plan, Inclusive of BEE
3/Company Registration Forms
4/Copy of Resolution. If acting in a representative capacity
5/Police Clearance Certificates
6/Copy of I.D Document
7/Tax Clearance Certificate
8/ Shareholders Agreement
9/Proof of Adequate Financial Ability
10/Proof of Technical Ability; For a certificate course visit Diamond Education.
- Submitting the application
The application must be submitted to the operational business premises of the Regulator situated at 251 Fox Street, Johannesburg, 2001, South Africa
- Process
SADPMR will only start processing applications once all the above requirements have been met.

I am having a client that wish to apply for a buyers licence. I have done these applications some 15 years ago and it seems that nothing much has changed with the application process. What will be the cost for total preparation on your side to assist me with my client.
